On Friday, July 7th, AgroProeftuin de Peel will be hosting its annual open day at the experimental site located on Middenpeelweg in Zeeland. Farmers, entrepreneurs, officials, citizens, and other interested individuals are all welcome to attend.
Visitors will have the opportunity to take themed tours of the experimental site, focusing on protein-rich crops, fiber crops, or new cultivation methods. These experiments all contribute to the sustainability of agricultural production, improvement of soil fertility and water quality, and offer potential for better income models for farmers.
The participating farmers will be present on this day to explain the challenges they face, why they have chosen specific crops or cultivation methods, and what their expectations are.
