Accessibility

Can I reach Eiwitcampus by public transport?

  • Sure, by bus or train you will get quite close to the Eiwitcampus. For the last bit, you have to take the footpath or (OV) bike. Check our contact page for the various possibilities.

Are there charging stations in the car park?

  • At the moment there are no charging stations, but they can be realised quickly.

Is there a shared car available?

  • Currently, there is no shared car available. In the future, when there is sufficient demand, we will revisit the possibilities for, for example, an Eiwitcampus car or a pitch for a car from organisations such as MyWheels or Greenwheels.

What about the parking facilities?

  • We have plenty of free parking spots on our site for our participants, partners and their visitors!

Is Eiwitcampus accessible for disabled people?

  • Yes, people who have difficulty walking or in a wheelchair can use our facilities on the ground floor. There is also a wheelchair-accessible toilet on the ground floor.

Is the site of Eiwitcampus accessible for large vehicles?

  • Yes, the Eiwitcampus site is accessible for large vehicles. There are no height restrictions and as long as your vehicle fits on the road, it will also fit anywhere on the campus.

What is the target group of Eiwitcampus?

  • If you are working on transition in or adjacent to one or more of the following areas, then you fit right in with our target group: animal and plant protein, biobased economy, circular agriculture and renewable energy. Read more about it on this page.

What distinguishes Eiwitcampus from other business parks and what makes Eiwitcampus unique?

  • Spatial, green surroundings together with a collective of innovative companies make Eiwitcampus ('Protein Campus') a breeding ground for innovation in agriculture and food. Read more about it on the About us page

 

 

How big is Eiwitcampus?

  • With a space of seven hectares, divided into outdoor and indoor areas, there is always room for you and your organisation.

Which companies and/or organisations are already active at Eiwitcampus?

  • Several participants and partners are linked to Eiwitcampus. Check this page to see who is currently active.

As an established company, do I also fit in at Eiwitcampus?

  • Yes, our offer is not limited to start- or scale-ups; we have flexible rental formulas that meet the needs of both established companies and growing start-ups. Moreover, it could actually be enlightening to be on campus with a diverse group of companies.

Who does Eiwitcampus collaborate with?

  • We collaborate with several organisations, which you can find on this page. Would you also like to collaborate/work with us? Let's get acquainted over a cup of coffee!

Do I have to participate in the community and knowledge transfer promoted by Eiwitcampus?

  • No, that is of course at your own discretion. However, we do hear from entrepreneurs that it is an added value to be able to spar and possibly cooperate with each other and companies outside your own circle.

Who is the owner of Eiwitcampus?

  • The Smits family is the owner of the site. Want to know more about the origins of the campus? Then read more on this page or contact us

How green is Eiwitcampus?

  • We try our best to be as green as possible. For example, we use solar panels for our energy supply. To encourage biodiversity, we have a sustainable mowing policy and we have several bird houses and bat boxes on site.

Can I take a guided tour?

  • Of course! We will be happy to show you around to experience the site and to get to know your possible future fellow participants. You can reach us by phone or email.

What is the difference between partners and participants?

  • Participants are all organisations based at Eiwitcampus in Beers, while partners are the parties we work with, but that are not located at our campus.

Facilities

What facilities are available in the meeting rooms and offices?

  • Our tenants enjoy Wi-Fi and shared facilities such as meeting rooms, a lobby and sanitary facilities. All rooms are furnished with chairs and tables, but do not include a screen, whiteboard, projector or writing utensils. We are still making plans for arranging plug-and-play meeting rooms.

Is there a reception area available?

  • Currently, there is no reception at Eiwitcampus. Our participants and partners are on campus at very different times, and so are their visitors. However, there are mailboxes for all participants, where incoming mail is sorted regularly. Also, the common room is always open for participants.

What are the access times for facilities?

  • When you rent a space, you have 24/7 access. Everyone has their own key to the rented space and all tenants can open the access gate. Shared spaces may also be used 24/7, as long as we are considerate of our surroundings and neighbours.

Is it possible to work for one or more days at Eiwitcampus as a non-participant?

  • This is currently not yet possible, unless you visit a participant of Eiwitcampus. In the future, we would like to realise a co-working space on campus.

Is it possible to rent a space for groups at Eiwitcampus?

  • The lobby can be rented for groups of up to sixty people. Facilities can be arranged by our local partners or, if you want, by your own partners. Other (smaller) meeting rooms are also available for rent. These can be used for up to twenty people. Please contact us if you are interested in this.

Is it possible to organise an event at Eiwitcampus?

  • We can host business meetings of up to sixty people at Eiwitcampus. Facilities can be arranged by our local event partners (catering, hardware, etc.) or, if you want, by your own partners. Please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

Is catering possible at Eiwitcampus? Or are there catering facilities on site?

  • The campus has a common area with a coffee machine and seating. For meetings and events, we work with a number of trusted, local partners, but you can also choose your own suppliers.

Are the indoor areas cleaned?

  • The common areas are cleaned once a week, so you can always work in a clean and professional environment. However, there is no basic cleaning included in the monthly rent of your office or warehouse. Of course, if this is desired, we can always organise it. 

Are there any showers available?

  • No, there are currently no communal showers available. 

Rent indoor and/or outdoor space

Are the offices furnished?

  • In principle, all (types of) spaces are rented out empty, so that each participant can use their own creativity and furnish it as they wish.

What kind of spaces does Eiwitcampus rent out?

  • We have indoor and outdoor spaces available. Take a look at the About us page for a first impression and get in touch if you want to know more or check on site if Eiwitcampus might be something for you/your company!

Can I rent a space for a short period of time?

  • A lot is possible at Eiwitcampus! Just contact us to see if we have a suitable space for you in combination with the renting period you have in mind. 

What are the lease terms?

  • We always start with a one-year contract to get to know one another. Are both sides pleased? Then a permanent contract follows the one-year contract.

Can I buy part of the site or building?

  • No, Eiwitcampus works with a rental model. This keeps us flexible and allows the vibrant campus to meet the changing needs of organisations that, for example, are growing or want to use less physical space.

How can I rent a space at Eiwitcampus?

  • You can contact us via our website or call directly for more information on availability and pricing. Our team is ready to help you find the perfect indoor or outdoor space to suit your ambitions.

How big are the different indoor and outdoor spaces?

  • The spaces available at Eiwitcampus are of different sizes. There is no standard size. We are happy to talk with you to come up with a solution that suits you and your business.

Staying overnight and/or living

Is it possible to stay overnight on Eiwitcampus?

  • It is not yet possible to stay overnight on Eiwitcampus, but we are working on it. If your guests are looking for an overnight address, we recommend Hotel-Restaurant De Bungelaer in Beers.

What are the housing options and for whom is housing interesting?

  • Eiwitcampus is keen to combine living-working-learning, so we are working hard to ensure that partners and participants can have their employees, trainees and relations live or stay overnight on campus.
