Eiwitcampus Beers is a collective building a new agricultural future, healthy food and a sustainable living environment together. We do this by using protein as a symbol of constructive building blocks.

For example, did you know that fertile, well-nourished agricultural ground is important for the formation of full-fledged proteins in crops? And that the pollen collected by honey bees contains protein? Or did you know that brewer's grains, as a residual stream from the beer brewing process, contain a lot of protein and are a high-quality animal feed? And that proteins are important and indispensable building blocks for good nutrition and health for humans too? Just as proteins as building blocks are indispensable for many themes within agri, food and energy, transitions are the basis for innovation in sectors and society. As a collective, Eiwitcampus Beers hopes to contribute to the basis of the future. 

Ecosystem thinking

Transition is needed at many levels. Urgent issues such as sustainability, food security and energy supply are at odds with each other. We put our trust in the resilience of people and planet - but it is still mainly people who have to make a move. Not tomorrow, but today. We believe in the concept of healthy, natural ecosystems. This cannot be achieved without working together in a network structure.
